Job Purpose

We are in need of a go-getter who is passionate about generating leads and developing new business opportunities.

The Lead Generation Specialist role is the perfect medium between driving revenue and serving others. This position will be responsible for the development of strategic approaches to engage with new prospects, current and past clients, using Hubspot CRM, LinkedIn - Sales Navigator, and other available sources of information to identify new business opportunities and develop prospect- and client-specific profile information. This individual is a highly motivated, creative self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including independent industry research, prospect lists, and inbound/outbound marketing leads.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the business development manager to develop strategies to drive/track conversion rates across multiple channels
  • Assist in monitoring market trends and analyzing the competition.
  • Prepare and manage all prospecting lists
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Utilize individual and mass email and phone calls for prospecting
  • Ensure the integrity of the data in Hubspot CRM by reviewing it frequently and helping Business Development and Sales team members correct inaccuracies
  • Taking detailed notes and follow-ups for the sales team in presentations.
  • Assist in company-sponsored events, and tradeshows including event attendee analysis and logistics preparation, as well as follow-up with attendees. (National & International)
  • Define, gather, and report on metrics that demonstrate the efficacy of marketing efforts
  • Be an ongoing contributor to the development and execution of marketing initiatives to drive traffic, and increase sales and brand awareness
  • Assist with various email marketing campaigns, social media platforms, website, and content initiatives
  • Perform other additional duties, responsibilities, and tasks as required

Must Haves:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Hubspot CRM experience
  • Excellent oral, analytical, written, and presentation skills are a must
  • Good understanding of the sales process
  • Strong research capabilities
  • Strong time management skills
  • Lead generation and/or sales automation
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Ability to work within a team structure, as well as independently in a fast-paced sales environment, with competing/shifting priorities
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Self-starter who possesses creative problem-solving skills delivering projects and assignments on target and on time
  • Strong phone presence and voice
  • Experience working within the hemp and/or cannabis industry is not required but preferred
  • Travel is required
